Happy Birthday Stephanie!

Today is the birthday of my very dear friend, Stephanie!  Happy Birthday!

I wondered, "On our budget, what can I possibly give her?" The perfect idea came to me inspired by the beautiful birthday kit Bake Your Birthday Cake by Desytka Designs.

Isn't this the cutest thing?!

I used it to make a gift box with handles, a Hershey size candy wrapper and a hot chocolate packet wrapper. I also included a heart shaped crayon that I made from melting used crayons in a heart shaped candy tin.

I've had some questions about some of the pages I have done in the past so this time instead of just posting the page I did you get the before photo and the layout created -- since it's not just a 'traditional' scrap page.

Scrapping Mojo

Wow! I scrapped a page and I L-O-V-E how it turned out!! WAHOO!  My scrapping mojo is BACK!!

I've been so busy with the photography business that I have not had much free time to scrap. The free time I did have was being wasted on Facebook games. I got sucked into that big time. I went cold turkey. No Facebook for 3 days. I think I need to start a Facebook Anonymous group. LOL.

Anyway, I used Dream A Little Dream by MagicalReality Designs from Pickleberrypop. This is a beautiful kit. Here is the magical page I created of my youngest...

On another subject, I got a new CT gig. I am so darned e x c i t e d about this also. I am now a proud member of Dianne Rigdon's Creative Team! She is one of the very first digital designers that I was exposed to when I started digiscrapping. I feel extremely honored that she chose me to be on her team. Thank you, Dianne!!

School and Football

Thank goodness the older boys have started school! Here are some pics from Tuesday, their first day of 4th and 2nd grades. Preschool doesn't start for another 2 weeks :(
